Anne was a highly valued member of the group for many years but has now sadly died.
Anne had worked from life in clay, taken courses in England and Tuscany in stone carving, and cold cast in bronze resin. After working directly in plaster, she was introduced to Fibrocem which is more durable than plaster and weathers well outside. Laterly she worked with ciment fondu on steel armature and wire-mesh figures.
Anne's sculptures are mainly styalised, and more recently with a common thread of human interaction and relationships. She also made several "Green Man" type heads in fired clay for garden walls.
